We teach in small classes of only 4-10 students! We offer private (1 person) and semi-private (2-3 person) classes for even more individualized attention.
At the World Language House, we carefully select our faculty. Their resumes speak loudly of higher-level education and teaching experience. Our fees reflect value, but not at the sacrifice of expert instructors. Choose from traditional or immersion styles of teaching in many of our languages; both receive glowing reviews!

FOR HOMESCHOOLERS: 2009-2010 CLASSES are now in session. CHINESE, FRENCH, SPANISH, LATIN, & AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE, + MATH, the Int'l Language: ALGEBRA 1 .
This school year our HIGHLY-QUALIFIED instructors are teaching substantive offerings to complement your homeschool family's studies. IN ADDITION, SOME OF OUR INSTRUCTORS HAVE AGREED TO LEAD STUDY GROUPS ABROAD TO THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES NEXT SUMMER!!! Destinations such as China, El Salvador, France, Italy, Greece, and more are being discussed. Fund-raising efforts will help fund the trips.
NEW THIS YEAR: We have many HOMESCHOOL UPPER-LEVEL CLASSES; namely Chinese 2, French 2, Latin 2, and Intermediate Spanish (using the Avancemos 2 textbook). THERE'S MORE! MATH, THE INT'L LANGUAGE, has been added to our awesome, homeschool offerings in the form of ALGEBRA 1!
WHAT IS OUR PRIMARY GOAL AT THE WORLD LANGUAGE HOUSE? To equip our students with their desired skills of conversing, reading, and/or writing effectively in the languages they are studying. That they "think" in these languages is how we best judge our success.
We teach classes at various locations around the Tri-Cities area, although most are held in So. Richland, WA, where our classrooms are comfortably-sized, naturally-lit, and culturally-decorated. An atrium, as well as the park across the street, allow for waiting and/or socializing before, after, or during classes.
